To do so, perform the action as you normally would. Choose any element from the view or the object tree, regardless of the element you want to act on/assrt for.

If your element includes a text, change the detection mode to "Text Analysis". Then update the text under "Element Text (Optional)" to include the actual text you want to tap on/assert for.

If element does not include text, change the detection mode to "Visual Analysis". An image of the element should show.
